Trees Tutorial

Process:

I used a large bushel gourd that I carved and wood-burned tree trunks and burred the roots on the bottom.

I used Powertex and t-shirt material to make the leaves. 

I used a dark green acrylic to color the leaves and then highlighted with a copper color.

I painted the inside black for contrast.

I love how it turned out!  This was my first time using this product and it is a very different and unique technique.

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to submit my gourd using Powertex.  I will use it again :)  I would like to try using the Stone Art on future projects.
